DO YOU RECYCLE YOUR ALUMINUM CANS? TGGF's "Together we CAN advocate" recycling program uses 100% of the proceeds to provide financial assistance to local cancer patients. Currently there is a Can Cottage sponsored by The Abingdon Ruritan Club and located on their premises to the right side of the building. Please feel free to drop off your cans!
2nd location COMING SOON! Best Value of Mathews has given TGGF permission to locate a Can Cottage on their premesis! We anticipate having it in place by the end of June 2010. In the mean time, if you are collecting your cans and can not drop them off to the Abingdon Ruritan Club location PLEASE FEEL FREE to contact one of our board members and we will arrange for pick up!
Blank Notecards
The Giving Garden Foundation now offers blank notecards, sold in sets of 10 which also include envelopes. The images used for these cards were taken by our Board of Directors and depict local flora, fauna and wildlife found in the Middle Peninsula region. All proceeds from the sale of these card sets will help support our mission of assisting local patients. Notecards are $15 per set of 10.
